Fashion Queens Bring Back That Hometown Shopping Experience

With three daughters of her own, you can imagine that shopping and fashion has always been a part of Kelly Queen's life, and with the encouragement of her girls, she and her family opened The Queen's Cottage, catering to tweens, teens, ladies and women who want trendy quality fashion and home décor at affordable prices.

“The girls and I have enjoyed making this dream of ours a reality and it was really possible to do since Courtney, 20, decided to stay home and go to college at ACTC.  We all work in the store, but Courtney does most of the buying.  My other two daughters, Kristin Brook and Kendall help with suggestions as well as finding specialty companies to carry in the store.  We love to carry lines that "give back," such as "Puppie Love" where 10 percent of its profits are donated to dog shelters and rescue groups nationwide, and "Simply Southern" that supports "Save the Turtles."

"Sometimes I feel like I'm in a Hallmark Christmas movie because now I have a shop in the town that I grew up in and I'm bringing back that hometown shopping experience and my favorite part is getting to reconnect with so many friends and family on a regular basis.  Their support and encouragement mean everything to us and we cannot thank them enough," says Queen.

The Queen's Cottage is constantly bringing in name brand items at affordable prices that are inspirational and have a positive influence on women, so every woman can be a "Fashion Queen" and they are gearing up for their big One Year Anniversary Celebration this week.  Check their Facebook and Instagram pages for daily sales, prizes and games.  They invite you to come celebrate this monumental event with them at the store located at 2033 Main Street in Westwood.
