The Kiwanis Club of Ashland will be hosting their annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, October 31 from 7 a.m. to noon. The location is set at First Baptist Church, 1700 Winchester Avenue in Ashland, and will have some changes due to COVID-19. Curbside and takeout orders are encouraged, as there will be limited dine-in seating available. Masks will be required indoors while CDC and Kentucky guidelines are followed.
One thing that hasn’t changed is that this is the best breakfast deal in town. Plates are $7 for adults, $4 for children under 12, and free for children 3 years and younger. The meal will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, coffee, juice and milk. Call 859.412.2016 to order.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit youth programs and projects in our community, including Boyd County, Rose Hill, Fairview Key Clubs, Fairview Elementary K-Kids, Boyd County Middle School Builder’s Club, Bring Up Grades programs in Ashland, Boyd, Fairview districts, and AMTRYKES for children with disabilities from all three school districts.
There will also be an ongoing closeout ornament sale; Summer Motion and Marathon ornaments will be available for $3 each or two for $5, while the Ashland Skyline ornament will be $5 each.
