King’s Daughters Welcomes Family Medicine Physician Brett Yoder, D.O.

 

 

   King’s Daughters is pleased to welcome family medicine physician Brett Yoder, D.O., to its team of family medicine providers.

   Dr. Yoder joins nurse practitioners Lee Ann Carter, APRN; Kellie Sparks, APRN; and Emily Sargent, APRN, at King’s Daughters Family Care Center Cedar Knoll, 10650 U.S. Route 60, Ashland.

   Dr. Yoder earned his medical degree from the University of Pikeville, Pikeville, Ky., and completed his family medicine residency at St. Claire HealthCare, Morehead, Ky.

   Family physicians deliver a range of acute, chronic and preventive medical care services. They diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries; provide preventive care, including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests; and work closely with patients to help them achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Family physicians also manage chronic illness, coordinating care provided by other subspecialists, as necessary.

   In addition, Dr. Yoder provides Osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), a hands-on technique that moves a patient’s joints and muscles to treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
