   Boyd County claimed the district crown with a 4-0 shutout of Ashland at Russell Soccer Com-plex Thursday evening. Four different Lions found the goal in the win. Rylan Keelin added an assist with his goal. Cole Thompson, Alec Lawson and Aiden McCoy also found the ball to the back of the net. Carter Gibson pitched the shutout for Boyd County. 

   Ashland defeated Russell in the opening round, 3-2. Drew Clark scored a pair of goals and add-ed an assist to lift the Tomcats to the championship. Gavin Maynard had the other Ashland goal. Parker Miller and Santiago Gutierrez had assists. 

   Ben and Nathan Totten netted the Russell goals. Alan Benitez Ramires assisted in one of the Devils goals. Russell closed its season at 11-6. 

   Boyd County and Ashland advance to the 16th Region Tournament at Rowan County with the Lions defeating Menifee County 5-1 and Ashland shutting out Greenup County 5-0.  Boyd County faced East Carter last night and Ashland went up against Rowan County. 



   It was the rubber match for Greenup County and West Carter in the opening round of the 62nd District tournament at Greenup County High School.

   After the Comets spoiled the Musketeers senior night two weeks prior, the host got the biggest win in the series with a 2-0 shutout. Travis Reed and Rylee Gilliam provided the Musketeers with a pair of first half goals. Trey Clinger added an assist. 

   Ryan Schulz pitched the shutout while recording 22 saves. 

   Greenup County fell to East Carter in the district championship, 5-1. Nate Crum smashed the lone Greenup County goal off an assist by Clinger. 



   Russell earned the district championship with a 2-1 win over Ashland. 

   Ava Quinn and Eva Blanke netted the Devils goals. Quinn and Kyndall DuVall assisted on goals. 

   Ashland defeated Boyd County 3-0 in the opening round of the tournament. Mary Bolen, Laney Sorrell and Kenleigh Woods netted goals for the Kittens. Sorrell and Lindsay Clark assisted. Gracie Madden pitched the shutout and had six goal saves.  

   Russell and Ashland both advance to the 16th Region Tournament at Rowan County. Ashland defeated West Carter 1-0 in the opening round and will square off against Fleming County to-night. Russell drew a bye in the first round and will face East Carter tonight at 6 p.m. 



   Greenup County fell 10-0 to East Carter in the opening round of the tournament. 

   Greenup County closed its season at 2-16.
