ASHLAND 2-5
Ashland fell in both contests this week with losses to Russell (2-0) and George Rogers Clark (7-0). The Tomcats went into intermission knotted at zero against the Red Devils but were unable to find the net in the second half and fell 2-0.
Ashland welcomes Boyd County Tuesday and Fleming County Thursday.
BOYD COUNTY 1-4-1
Boyd County went 1-1 this week with a 4-3 win over West Carter and a 2-0 loss to East Carter.
Joseph Blankenship had a pair of goals and added an assist in the win over West Carter. Aiden McCoy and Eli Shelton added goals. Cameron Stanton had two assists. Conner Davis had three saves in the goal.
Davis had four goal saves in the loss to East Carter.
Boyd County visits Ashland Tuesday.
RUSSELL 6-3
Russell went 1-0 this week with a 2-0 win over Ashland. Ben Totten and Alan Benitez Ramires had goals. Brylee Mullins and Jacob Lodwick added assists. Caden Hampton had three saves in the shutout.
Russell visits Lawrence County Wednesday and welcomes Hurricane, WV Saturday.
GREENUP COUNTY 2-6-1
Greenup County went 1-1 this week with a win over Harvest Christian Academy and a loss to Lawrence County.
Brantley Snider had the lone goal in the Musketeers 9-1 loss to Lawrence County. Owen Collier had 16 saves in the losing effort.
Easton Sparks and Karter Gilliam tallied a hat trick to lead Greenup to a 10-1 win over Harvest Christian. Elijah Brown, Nate Crum, Carter Nunley and Michael Colley added goals. Crum had
three assists, Brown added two and Elijah Beach and Snider added one. Collier had 15 saves and did not allow a goal in the net.
Greenup County welcomes Bath County Tuesday, visits Johnson Central Thursday and welcomes Shelby Valley Saturday.
