ASHLAND 8-1
Ashland went 3-0 this week with wins over Boyd County, Minford and Montgomery County.
Ashland defeated Boyd 3-1. Kenleigh Woods, Macie Bevins and Milei Baker had goals. Kylee Fields and Woods added assists. Malorie Caudill had four saves in goal.
Woods and Baker netted four goals each to lead Ashland to an 8-0 win over Minford. Both had a pair of assists and Fields added another. Caudill had six saves in the shutout.
Ashland defeated Montgomery County, 4-2. No stats were reported.
Ashland visits East Carter Tuesday, welcomes Wheelersburg Thursday and Belfry Saturday.
BOYD COUNTY 3-5
Boyd County went 1-1 this week with a win over Gallia Academy and loss to Ashland.
Aubrey Moore had the lone goal for the Lions in their 3-1 loss to Ashland. Alexis Boyd assisted. Sophia Stevens had 16 saves in the losing effort.
Boyd bounced back with a 3-0 win over Gallia Academy. Faith Burnside had two goals and Maddison Badgett added another. Boyd had an assist. Stevens had two saves in the shutout.
Boyd welcomes Russell Monday, visits Martin County Thursday and Fleming County Saturday.
RUSSELL 8-0
Russell was idle last week.
The Lady Devils visits Boyd County Monday, welcomes Minford Thursday and visits Corbin Saturday.
GREENUP COUNTY 2-8
Greenup County went 0-2 this week with losses to Spring Valley, 9-1 and Johnson Central, 8-0.
Haley Hall had a goal in the loss to Spring Valley and had 12 saves in the net.
Mikenzie Boltz had 30 saves in the goal in the losing effort to Johnson Central.
