ASHLAND 3-5-1
Ashland registered a win and a tie this week.
Ashland defeated Boyd County, 1-0 in a shootout from the mark. Sawyer Frazier had three goal saves in the shutout for the Tomcats.
Frazier tallied three more saves and his second shutout as Ashland played to a 0-0 tie with Fleming County.
Ashland visits East Carter Thursday and welcomes Belfry Saturday.
BOYD COUNTY 1-5-1
Boyd County fell to Ashland, 1-0 on kicks from the mark in the Lions only game this week. Conner Davis had 11 saves in regulation.
Boyd County is idle until Sept. 19.
RUSSELL 7-4
Russell went 1-1 this week with a win over Lawrence County and a loss to Hurricane, WV, 9-0.
Ben Totten and Alan Benitez Ramires each netted goals in the 2-0 win over Lawrence County. Brylee Mullins assisted on a goal.
Russell welcomes East Carter Monday, visits Rowan County Wednesday and welcomes Spring Valley Saturday.
GREENUP COUNTY 3-7-1
Greenup went 2-1 this week with wins over Harvest Christian Academy and Bath County and a loss to Johnson Central, 6-0.
Karter Gilliam and Easton Sparks each had a hat trick to lead Greenup to a 10-1 win over Harvest Christian. Michael Colley, Carter Nunley, Nate Crum and Elijah Brown added goals. Crum had three assists and Brown added two. Owen Collier had 15 saves in the goal.
Gilliam and Sparks each had a pair of goals in a 4-2 win over Bath County. Crum had three assists. Collier had 16 saves in the net.
Greenup visits Bath on Monday, welcome Rowan County on Thursday and visits New Boston Saturday.
