Ashland defeated East Carter, 2-1 in their only contest this week. Troy Barnett and Landon Griffith tallied goals. Luke Stahler assisted on both scores. Sawyer Frazier had four saves in the net.
Ashland visits Rowan County Tuesday and welcomes Huntington Saturday .
BOYD COUNTY 1-5-1
Boyd County was idle this week.
The Lions welcome Russell Tuesday, visit Spring Valley Thursday and Perry County Central on Saturday.
RUSSELL 9-4-1
Russell went 2-0-1 this week with wins over East Carter, 2-1 and Spring Valley, 8-1. Russell played to a 1-1 tie with Rowan County.
Jeison Benitez Ramires and Eli Scott netted goals in the win over East Carter. Alan Benitez Ramires assisted on both goals. Caden Hampton had five saves in the net.
Jeison Benitez Ramires scored the lone Russell goal against Rowan County. Alan assisted on the goal. Hampton had five saves in goal.
Jeison Benitez Ramires had three goals in the win over Spring Valley. Alan Benitez Ramires had two goals and three assists. Brylee Mullins, Joe Kaczmarcyk and Ben Totten added goals. Totten and Ethan Stamper had assists.
Russell visits Boyd County Tuesday, Menifee County Wednesday and Fleming County Saturday.
GREENUP COUNTY 4-9-1
Greenup County went 1-2 this week with a 3-2 win over Bath County and losses to Rowan County, 10-1 and New Boston, 5-1.
Easton Sparks had two goals and Michael Colley added the third. Karter Gilliam, Elijah Brown and Nate Crum provided assists. Owen Collier had 18 saves in the net.
Sparks netted the lone goal and Gilliam assisted in the loss to Rowan.
Gilliam and Crum combined for the only goal in the loss to New Boston. Collier had 16 saves.
Greenup heads to Prestonsburg Monday, welcomes Harvest Christian Thursday and New Boston Saturday.
