ASHLAND 11-3

Ashland went 2-1 this week with wins over Fairland, 14-0, Bourbon County, 7-1 and a 4-2 loss to Huntington.

Kenleigh Woods and Milei Baker had four goals, Meisha Salisbury added three and Macie Bevins, Abby Baldwin and Calista Williams each added a goal in the win over Fairland. Mallorie Caudill had a pair of saves. 

Woods netted five goals in the win over Bourbon County. Baker had a goal and three assists. Bevins closed the scoring. Caudill tallied three saves. 

Ashland was unable to hold a 2-1 in the second half and fell to Huntington 4-2. 

Ashland welcomes Huntington Expression Prep Tuesday and visits Bluegrass United on Saturday.

BOYD COUNTY 8-6

Boyd County went 3-0 this week with wins over Wheelersburg, 1-0, Huntington St. Joe, 3-0 and a 3-0 win over South Point. 

Maddison Badgett netted a goal with an assist from Faith Burnside in the win over Wheelersburg. Bella Opell had eight saves in the shutout. 

Burnside netted a pair of goals and Addison Miller added the third in the win over St. Joe. Sophia Stevens recorded five saves. 

No stats were reported in the win over South Point. 

Boyd welcomes Greenup Monday and South Point Thursday.

RUSSELL 14-1

Russell went 3-1 this week with wins over Fleming, 10-1, Bath County, 10-0, Lawrence, 5-0 and a 1-0 loss to Henry Clay. 

Eva Blanke scored five goals and Ava Quinn added a pair in the win over Fleming. Haley Addis, Kaelyn Howard and Emma Stamper each netted a goal. Quinn had three assists. 

Blanke netted four goals in the win over Bath. Alyssa Truett, Macy Vonderheide, Quinn, Howard, Addis and Stamper added goals. Quinn had three assists. Gabrielle Williams had a pair of saves in the shutout. 

Quinn and Stamper had a pair of goals and Blanke chipped in another to lead Russell over Lawrence. Quinn added a pair of assists. 

Williams had six saves in the net in the loss to Henry Clay.

Russell visits Wheelersburg on Tuesday and West Carter Wednesday.

GREENUP COUNTY 2-12

 

Greenup fell to South Point, 8-1 in their only game this week. Josie Crum had the lone goal in the loss. Haley Hall had 13 saves in the losing effort. 

Greenup visits Boyd County Monday and Rowan on Wednesday.
