ASHLAND 19-9
Ashland went 2-1 this week with wins over Rowan County and Lawrence County and a loss to Great Crossing.
Ashland defeated Rowan, 56-46 in overtime. Zander Carter led the way with 19. Braxton Jennings added 15. Both hit three triples in the win.
Ashland knocked off Lawrence, 73-63. Jennings had 20 in the win. Asher Adkins finished with 17. Carter kicked in 10.
Ashland closed the regular season with a home loss to No. 1 Great Crossing, 72-59. Carter led the Tomcats with 16 points. Nate Freize added 14. Jennings had 12.
Ashland is idle the final week of the regular season and will meet Fairview in the opening round of the 64thDistrict tournament.
BOYD COUNTY 22-6
Boyd County went 0-2 this week with losses to Fleming County and Harlan County.
Boyd fell to Fleming, 77-72 in overtime. Cole Hicks had 22 including six 3s. Rhett Holbrook added 19. Jacob Spurlock added 18. Jason Ellis had 10.
Boyd fell to Harlan County, 93-75. Cole Hicks connected on 10 of the Lions 14 treys and finished with 34 points.
Boyd welcomes Johnson Central Monday and visits Greenup County Friday.
FAIRVIEW 7-19
Fairview fell 77-61 to Russell in its only game this week. Steven Day netted 20 for the Eagles. Tamel Smith added 18.
Fairview visits Lewis Monday, welcomes Adams County Christian Tuesday, Raceland Wednesday and visits West Carter Friday.
ROSE HILL 7-14
Rose Hill went 1-1 this week with a win over Ignite, WV and a loss to Hannan, WV.
Christian Blevins dropped 30 in the Royals 84-61 loss to Hannan.
Rose Hill bounced back with a 60-40 win over Ignite. Blevins had 21. Dylan Blevins and Bryant Stephens added 10 each. Colin Wilburn grabbed 12 rebounds.
Rose Hill welcomes Phelps Monday, visits Covenant, WV Tuesday, welcomes Adams County Christian Friday and visits Covenant on Saturday.
63rd DISTRICT
RUSSELL 15-9
Russell went 2-0 this week with wins over Fairview and Bath County.
Russell defeated Fairview, 77-61. Tatum Fleming and Elijah Neel led the way with 15 points each. Joe Kaczmarcyk kicked in 14. Ryder Burgess and Caleb Rimmer each had 12. Rimmer grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds. Burgess was 4 for 5 from long range.
Russell knocked off Bath County, 76-69. No stats were reported in the win.
Russell visits East Carter Tuesday and welcomes Rowan County on Thursday.
RACELAND 15-13
Raceland went 2-1 this week with wins over West Carter and Nicholas County and a loss to Morgan County.
Raceland defeated West Carter, 57-42. Christina Large had 26 in the win. Conner Sutton added 10. Connor Thacker netted eight points and grabbed 14 rebounds.
Raceland fell to Morgan, 84-70. Thacker had 22 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. Large and Sutton had 16.
Raceland defeated Nicholas County, 75-55. No stats were reported.
Raceland visits Fairview Wednesday and Lawrence County Thursday.
GREENUP COUNTY 15-13
Greenup County fell to Lewis County, 56-53. Kasey Gammon led the Musketeers with 17 points. Cohen Underwood kicked in 10.
Greenup visits West Carter Tuesday and welcomes Boyd County Friday.
