   A pair of wins sandwiched a loss in a busy week for the Kittens. 

   Ashland notched wins over Morgan County (75-53) and Fairview (75-14) while falling 48-41 to Portsmouth Notre Dame. 

   Lindsay Wallenfeltz drained five triples for 15 points to lead the Kittens over the Lady Cougars. Carley Cullop had 15 points and 11 rebounds. Khia Robinson added 13. Ella Sellars kicked in 12. 

   Cullop and Kenleigh Woods led Ashland with nine each in the loss to Notre Dame. 

   Casey Wallenfeltz scored a career high 29 points to lead Ashland over Fairview. Lindsay Wallenfeltz had 12. Jordan Rakes had 10 against her former team. 

   Ashland travels to Russell Wednesday, Boyd County Thursday and travels to Menifee County Saturday. 



   Boyd County had not played in nearly two weeks. It did not show when the Lady Lions welcomed 15th Region powerhouse Pikeville Saturday in the Roundball Classic.

   Boyd County raced out to a 17-0 lead which grew to 25-2 at one point in the first half before holding off a late Lady Panthers surge for an 81-58 win. 

   Bailey Rucker paced the Lady Lions with 21 points while going 7 of 8 from the field. Harley Paynter added 17 points. Hannah Roberts and Audrey Biggs each had 13 while Biggs grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds. 

   Boyd County welcomes Ashland Thursday night, Fleming County Friday and Bethlehem on Saturday.



   Fairview fell in both contests this week, 75-14 to Ashland and 47-46 to Sugar Creek Christian Academy (OH). 

   Josey Nelson’s six points were best for the Lady Eagles in the loss to Ashland. 

   Nelson had 17 and Kiera Loving had 14 points and 15 rebounds in the one-point loss to Sugar Creek Christian. 

Fairview welcomes Magoffin County Wednesday and travels to Portsmouth on Saturday. 



   Rose Hill secured a pair of wins in a trio of affairs this week. 

   Gabby Karle dropped 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a 45-42 win over Portsmouth. Baylee Trimble and Jewelia VanKeuren each added 11. 

   Trimble’s 16 points were the team best in a 74-53 loss to Raceland. Karle had 15. Bellamee Sparks had 12 points and 10 rebounds. 

   Trimble went for 20 in a 58-24 win over Magoffin County. Karle kicked in 15. 

   Rose Hill welcomes Ironton St. Joe Tuesday and travels to Raceland Friday. 



   Playing with only seven players and missing four starters, Russell took Martin County to overtime only to come up short 75-73. Aubrey Hill led the way with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Jose Atkins had 21. Hannah Sanders added 16. 

   Russell welcomes Raceland in a district tilt Monday night, Ashland on Wednesday and Wheelersburg Saturday. 



   Raceland defeated Rose Hill 74-53 in its only game this week. Kierston Smith led the Lady Rams with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Emma Picklesimer and Siyan Hapney had 11. Chloe Collins added eight points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

   Raceland travels to Russell Monday, welcomes Lucasville Valley, OH Thursday and Rose Hill on Friday.
