After a long year of uncertainty and the difficult storms of the winter, the redbuds are blooming and spring has arrived. With that comes the excitement and anticipation of county fairs, festivals and summer activities.
The Boyd County Fair will be hosting the Redbud Craft and Vendor Show on April 24 to benefit the 2021 Boyd County Fair. The show will be held at the Boyd County Convention Center from 10 am to 4 pm. There are still spaces available for crafts/vendors.
Ellen Keaton, BC Fair president says, “We are looking forward to a really great show. We have quite a variety of crafts and direct marketing vendors already registered, but we will have room for others.” She went on to say this is only two weeks prior to Mother’s day and will give an excellent opportunity to find a unique gift for your mom or someone special in your life. Concessions will be available at the event.
Mrs. Keaton went on to say, “Funding for any type of event such as the fair is difficult at best, but with the pandemic and loss of so many local businesses that has supported us in the past, this year is going to be a little harder than usual. Events like this will help us bridge the gap.”
