Tuesday, August 31

 

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Entering of Exhibits

 

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  4H/FFA Beef Show and Showmanship (Market class shows first)

 

3 p.m.  Rabbit Show and Showmanship (Market class shows first)

 

5 p.m.  Poultry Show and Showmanship (Market class shows first)

 

6:30 p.m.  Opening Ceromonies with Judge Executive Bobby Carpenter - Tribute to Veterans

 

7 p.m.  Miss Greenup County Fair Pageant - Pole Barn

 

8 p.m.  Greenup County Redneck Costume Contest (during beauty pageant intermission)

$10 Admission (Free Parking) includes Carnival Rides by Casey’s Carnival, Kids 3 and under free ($6 for rides)

Ag Building will be open on Wednesday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 

 

Wednesday, September 1

 

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  4-H/FFA Hog and Feeder Pig Show and Showmanship (Market class shows first)

 

1:30 to 2:30 p.m.  Registration for Baby Miss and Baby Mister and Little Miss and Mister (Pole Barn)

 

3:30 p.m.  Baby Miss and Baby Mister, Little Miss and Little Mister Greenup County Fair

 

5 to 5:45 p.m.  Registration for Miss Junior and Miss Teen Greenup Couty Fair

 

6 p.m.  Miss Junior and Miss TeenGreenup County Fair

 

6 p.m.  Greenup County Fair Horse Show

$10 Admission (Free Parking) includes Carnival Rides by Casey’s Carnival, Kids 3 and under free ($6 for rides)

Ag Building will be open on Wednesday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 

 

Thursday, September 2

 

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  4H/FFA Lamb, Goat and Dairy Show and Showmanship (Market class shows first)

 

1 to 2:30 p.m.  (or 30 minutes after conclusion of Dairy Goat Showmanship) Round Robin Showmanship Winners for Showmanship for each species will compete for best all-around showman

 

7 p.m.  Live Band Night Featuring “Sirius” (Sponsored by Bee Gone Pest Control)

 

7:30 p.m.  Motocross (Sponsored by Barker’s Equipment and Soggy Bottom MX)

$10 Admission (Free Parking) includes Carnival Rides by Casey’s Carnival, Kids 3 and under free ($6 for rides)

Ag Building will be open on Wednesday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 

 

 

Friday, September 3

 

8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.  4H/FFA Youth Livestock will show Animal Demonstrations for Greenup County Special Needs Students (pending COVID restrictions)

 

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  4H/FFA Horse Show

 

5 to 6 p.m.  Registration for Kids in the Races

 

6 p.m.  Kids in the Races

 

7 p.m.  KITPA Tractor Pull (Sponsored by Clark’s Pump-N-Shop)

 

7 p.m.  Greenup’s Got Talent (Sign-up 5 p.m.)

$10 Admission (Free Parking) includes Carnival Rides by Casey’s Carnival, Kids 3 and under free ($6 for rides)

Ag Building will be open on Wednesday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 

 

Saturday, September 4

 

9:30 a.m.  Recognition of Skill-A-Thon and Livestock Judging Winners (In Show Barn)

 

10 a.m.  Livestock Sale of Grand Champions, Sale of Reserve Champions, Sale of all other Animals: Poultry, Lambs, Goats, Steers, Feeder Calves, Feeder Pigs, Hogs and Rabbits

 

10:15 a.m.  Dog Show Registration (Pole Barn)

 

11 a.m.  Greenup County Fair Dog Show (Pole Barn)

 

12 Noon  Carnival Rides Open

 

5 to 6 p.m.  Registration for Lawn Mower Races

 

7 p.m.  Lawn Mower Races (Sponsored by Cintas)

$10 Admission (Free Parking) includes Carnival Rides by Casey’s Carnival, Kids 3 and under free ($6 for rides)

Ag Building will be open on Wednesday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 

 

Sunday, September 5

 

7 a.m. to 1 p.m.  All Animals Leave the Fairgrounds and Checking with Extension Agents (All stalls must be cleaned by 2 p.m. or $15 will be charged)

 

2 to 3 p.m.  Check Out all Exhibits, Booths and Pick up Premiums 

(Note: All premiums will be paid in cash from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Any premiums not claimed during this time will be forfeited to the Greenup County Fair)
