Elks Serve Up Christmas

The Ashland Elks Lodge served a record number of meals on Christmas this year, wrapping up with 1785 mouths fed. The Ashland Elks have been serving the public on Christmas since 1963, when community members put forth the effort to give back to those in need.

So every Christmas the volunteers gather; they spend whatever time it takes to help those in need, and the appreciative glances from people picking up a to-go tray, or sitting down for a meal, remind them of why they do this every year, and how important it truly is.
