The Paramount Arts Center will host the 34th annual Spring Gala at the Bellefonte Country Club on Saturday, April 25, 2020. The Gala is the Paramount’s largest fundraiser of the year, with all proceeds benefiting the operation and preservation of the historic theatre.
The elegant evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 8:00pm and dancing at 9 p.m. The theme of this year’s event, “Run for the Rose`: The Triple Crown Gala”, celebrates the Paramount Arts Center as the Crown Jewel of the tristate community and recognizes its contribution to outstanding performing arts and unique cultural experiences. Chairpersons for the 2020 Spring Gala are Dr. Stacy Caudill and Mr. Matthew Warnock. Co-chairs are Drs. Grace and Justin Dixon.
Constructed in 1931 as the Paramount Theatre and later adapted into a community arts organization, the Paramount Arts Center serves as a sense of identity and purpose for the tristate region. In 2019, the Paramount provided 200,000 individual art experiences to local patrons, educated 61,000 youth across 33 counties in visual and performing arts, and contributed $1.8 million toward the economic well-being of our great city.
The Spring Gala is a spectacular evening, but more importantly, it is essential to the ongoing success of the Paramount Arts Center and the vitality of our community. The board of directors, staff and volunteers of the Paramount look forward to seeing you at the premier event of the season. The Triple Crown Gala promises to delight!
