64th DISTRICT
ASHLAND 5-10
Ashland went 1-3 this week with a win over Raceland and losses to Greenup, Cabell Midland and Tates Creek, 6-1.
Ashland fell to Greenup, 15-10. Brady Marushi went 2 for 3 with a home run and 3RBI. Chandler Kisor went 2 for 4 with 2RBI.
Ashland got a stellar outing from starting pitcher LJ Murphy in a 2-1 win over Raceland. Murphy worked 6 2/3 innings, allowing only three hits and struck out four in the win. Asher Moore and River Lynch each had a pair of hits. Marushi smashed a two-run homer. Kisor had a double.
Marushi and Lynch had Ashland’s three hits in their 10-0 loss to Midland. Lynch had a double.
Ashland welcomes Fairview Tuesday, Boyd on Thursday and visits Montgomery County Saturday.
BOYD COUNTY 9-3
Boyd went 2-0 this week with wins over Rowan County and Johnson Central, 8-5.
Grant Slater and Connor Davis combined to toss a perfect game in a 7-0 win over Rowan. Slater fanned 12 and Davis added three strikeouts. Alex Maynard and Davis each had doubles in the win.
Boyd visits Huntington Monday, visits Fleming County Tuesday, Ashland Thursday, Prestonsburg Friday at Marshall University and welcomes Pikeville Saturday.
FAIRVIEW 5-6

Fairview went 1-1 this week with a win over Symmes Valley and a loss to Raceland.
Fairview defeated Symmes Valley, 9-2. Tanner Reihs went the distance while giving up only two runs and striking out five. Tevin Smith went 3 for 5. Izaac Johnson doubled and drove in two. Mason Lemaster drove in two as well.
Fairview came up short to Raceland, 4-3. LeMaster and Johnson each had a pair of hits.
Fairview welcomes West Carter Monday, visits Ashland Thursday and Martin County Friday.
GREENUP COUNTY 7-7

Greenup went 1-2 this week with a 15-10 win over Ashland and losses to Beechwood, 10-0 and Ryle, 4-3 in the Doc Morris Classic.
Greenup pounded out 13 hits in their win over Ashland. Hunter Holbrook led the Musketeers with a pair of hits and 3RBI. Kasey Gammon and Colin Alexander added doubles. Ty Logan and Gavin Roy each drove in a pair.
Greenup starts district Monday with a trip to Lewis County, welcomes Lewis Tuesday and Portsmouth West Friday.
RACELAND 9-4
Raceland went 3-1 this week with wins over Fairland, Fairview and Montgomery County, and a 3-2 loss to Ashland.
Landon Bloss tossed a complete game over five innings in an 11-0 win over Fairland. Kadin Shore smashed two home runs in the win while driving in four. Cade Coldiron had a pair of hits including a double and 2RBI. Eli Lynd added a double.
Raceland fell to Ashland, 2-1. Lynd doubled in one of only three Raceland hits in the game.
Raceland bounced back with a 4-3 walk-off win over Fairview. Connor Thacker went 3 for 4 while delivering the game winner in the seventh. Michael Pennington had a pair of hits. Sam Lynd and Coldiron each drove in a run.
Raceland opens district play Monday with a trip to Russell, followed by a visit from the Devils Tuesday.
RUSSELL 10-4

Russell went 2-1 this week with wins over West Carter and Morgan County, 12-2 and a 5-1 loss to Fleming County.
Russell hammered West Carer, 17-2 in four innings. Kyle Mokas earned the win from the bump while allowing six hits and struck out five. Russell tallied 17 hits led by three each from Elijah Hankins and Mokas. Hankins had a double, triple and drove in five. Mokas drove in four. Grayson Kiser, Lokelio Ancheta and Hayden Mcguire each doubled.
Russell opens district play with a visit from Raceland Monday, visits the Rams Tuesday, Lawrence County Thursday and plays Hazard and Betsy Layne Saturday at Prestonsburg.
