64th DISTRICT

 

ASHLAND 17-10

 

Ashland went 1-1 this week with a win over Montgomery County and a 68-38 loss to No. 2 GRC.

 

Brookelyn Duckwyler and Emilee Neese each netted 18 in the Kittens 65-62 win over Montgomery County.

 

Ashland will meet the winner of Boyd County and Fairview Wednesday night in the 64th District Championship at 7pm.

 

BOYD COUNTY 17-10

 

Boyd went 1-1 this week with a win over Russell and a 64-46 loss to Rowan County.

 

Jada Ray poured in 29 points to lead Boyd past Russell, 60-46. Ray drained six triples in the win.

 

Boyd meets Fairview Monday night at 6pm in the opening round of the 64th District Tournament at Ashland.

 

FAIRVIEW 6-20

 

Fairview went 1-1 this week with a win over Hannan, WV and a loss to Bath County.

 

Fairview defeated Hannan, 67-52. Emma Pierce led the Eagles with 22 points. Madison Loving added 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Bre Moore kicked in 18.

 

Fairview fell to Bath County, 65-31. Loving had 10 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

 

Fairview meets Boyd Monday night at 6pm in the opening round of the 64th District Tournament at Ashland.

 

63rd DISTRICT

 

GREENUP COUNTY 3-25

 

Greenup went 0-2 this week with losses to East and West Carter.

 

Greenup fell to East Carter, 51-23. Leah Langley led the Musketeers with seven points. Maddy Steele grabbed 13 rebounds.

 

Greenup fell to West Carter, 66-53. Dharia Crum had 14 points in the loss. Rylan Troxler added 11. Addison Branim grabbed 11 rebounds.

 

Greenup meets Russell Monday night at 6pm in the opening round of the 63rd District Tournament at Raceland.

 

RACELAND 18-10

 

Raceland defeated West Carter, 63-46 to close the regular season. Emma Broughton had 24 points in the win. Nim Maynard finished with 18. Lexi Boggs added 10. Brooke Campbell grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.

 

Raceland meets Lewis County Monday night at 7:45pm in the opening round of the 63rd District Tournament.

 

RUSSELL 21-7

 

Russell fell to Boyd County, 60-46 to close the regular season. Gabby Oborne led the way with 17. Kennedy Darnell added 16 and netted her 1,000 career point.

 

Russell meets Greenup Monday night at 6pm in the opening round of the 63rd District Tournament.
