ASHLAND 13-9
Ashland went 1-2 this week with a win over Russell and losses to Spring Valley and Portsmouth.
Ashland fell to Spring Valley, 65-59. Kenleigh Woods had 18 in the loss. Gabby Karle kicked in 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Brookelyn Duckwyler finished with 11.
Ashland bounced back with a 74-39 win over Russell. Woods led the way with 27 behind five 3s. Karle added 13. Duckwyler tossed in 12. Aryanna Gulley netted 11.
Ashland welcomes Russell Monday, Rowan Tuesday, Boyd Thursday and Pikeville Saturday.
BOYD COUNTY 15-8
Boyd went 1-1 this week with a win over East Carter and a 63-60 loss to Menifee.
Boyd defeated East, 71-37. Jada Ray led the way with 19 points. Kollyn Groves had 14. Zoey Smith added 10.
Boyd visits Lawrence Monday, Morgan Tuesday and Ashland Thursday.
FAIRVIEW 4-18
Fairview defeated Hannan, WV, 54-19. Emma Pierce led the way with 20 points. Bre Moore and Madison Loving tossed in 15. Loving grabbed 13 rebounds.
Fairview welcomes West Carter Monday, Raceland Tuesday, visits East Carter Wednesday and Elliott County Saturday.
63rd DISTRICT
GREENUP COUNTY 3-21
Greenup went 0-2 this week with losses to Raceland, 58-23 and 45-43 to Prestonsburg. Bella Stith led the Lady Musketeers with eight points and Maddy Steele tossed in seven in the loss to Raceland.
Greenup welcomes Raceland Monday, visits Fleming County Friday and welcomes Shelby Valley Saturday.
RACELAND 14-10
Raceland went 1-1 this week with a win over Greenup and a loss to Russell.
Nim Maynard and Emma Broughton each had 16 to lead Raceland to a 58-23 win over Greenup. Brooklynn Campbell and Allayson Rigsby each grabbed 10 rebounds.
Raceland fell to Russell, 53-45. Maynard led the way with 20. Broughton had 10.
Raceland visits Greenup Monday, Fairview Tuesday, Tolsia, WV Thursday and welcomes Pendleton County Saturday.
RUSSELL 19-5
Russell went 1-2 this week with a district win over Raceland and losses to Ashland and East Carter.
Russell fell to Ashland, 74-39. Kennedy Darnell had 13 in the loss.
Russell pushed their 63rd District winning streak to 74 games with a 53-45 win over Raceland. Gabby Oborne and Darnell each had 15 in the win. Bethany Allen added 12.
Russell fell to East Carter, 58-53 in overtime. Darnell led the way with 24.
Russell visits Ashland Monday, welcomes Lawrence Thursday and visits Bath County Saturday.
