64th DISTRICT

ASHLAND 18-10

Ashland defeated Boyd County, 75-52 in the district championship. Brookelyn Duckwyler led the way with 17 points. Kenleigh Woods added 16. Aryanna Gulley had 15. Alexis Troxler had 10 and grabbed nine rebounds.

Ashland opens the 16th Region Tournament Monday night against Raceland at 6:30 p.m. 

BOYD COUNTY 18-11

Boyd County went 1-1 this week with a win over Fairview and loss to Ashland in the district tournament.

Boyd defeated Fairview, 69-31 in the opening round. Jada Ray led the Lions with 12 points.

Boyd fell to Ashland, 75-52 in the championship. Ray had 16 points in the loss. Kollyn Groves added 10.

Boyd meets Menifee County Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. in the opening round of the 16th Region Tournament.

FAIRVIEW 6-21

Fairview fell to Boyd County, 69-31 in the opening round of the district tournament. Madison Loving led the way with 11.

Fairview closes the season at 6-21.

63rd DISTRICT

GREENUP COUNTY 3-26

Greenup fell to Russell, 62-34 in the opening round of the district tournament. Dharia Crum led the Musketeers with 15 points in the loss.

Greenup closes the season at 3-26.

RACELAND 19-11

Raceland went 1-1 this week with a win over Lewis County in the opening round of the district tournament and a loss to Russell in the championship.

Raceland defeated Lewis, 53-42. Nim Maynard had 17 in the win. Allayson Rigsby kicked in 13 while grabbing 10 rebounds.

Raceland fell to Russell, 60-52 in the championship. Maynard led the way with 14 points but fouled out of the contest with six minutes to play in the third. Brooke Campbell added 12.

Raceland meets Ashland Monday night at 6:30 p.m. in the opening round of the 16th Region Tournament.

RUSSELL 23-7

Russell went 2-0 this week with wins over Greenup and Raceland in the district tournament.

Russell defeated Greenup, 62-34 in the opening round. Gabby Oborne led the way with 19. Kennedy Darnell added 15. Bethany Allen had 11.

Russell erased a 12-0 deficit to start the contest with Raceland to secure their 10th consecutive district championship with a 60-52 win. Oborne led the way with 22. Allen added 14. Kenley Kouns kicked in 12. Darnell had 10.

Russell meets Morgan County Tuesday night in the opening round of the 16th Region Tournament.
