64th DISTRICT

 

ASHLAND 9-7

Ashland defeated West Jessamine, 70-46 in their only game this week. Emilee Neese led the Kittens with 13 points. Brookelyn Duckwyler and Kenleigh Woods had 12 each. Aryanna Gulley tossed in 11. Gabby Karle added 10.

 

Ashland visits Fleming Monday, Boyd Tuesday and welcome Portsmouth Notre Dame Saturday.

 













BOYD COUNTY 12-6

Boyd went 1-1 this week with a win over West Carter and a loss to Russell.

 

Kollyn Groves led the Lions with 15 points in their win over West Carter. Jada Ray had 13 points. Bella Opell finished with 12. Sophia Stevens and Zoey Smith added 10 each.

 

Boyd fell to Russell, 55-48. Ray led the Lions with 15 points. Opell had 11.

 

Boyd visits Fairview Monday, welcomes Ashland Tuesday and Fleming County Saturday.

 







FAIRVIEW 3-15

 

Fairview fell 64-20 to New Boston in their only game this week. Emma Pierce leads the Lady Eagles in scoring averaging 9.3 points a game.

 

Fairview welcomes Boyd Monday and Coal Grove on Wednesday.

 

63rd DISTRICT

 

GREENUP COUNTY 2-16

 

Greenup went 1-3 this week with a 61-52 win over New Boston and losses to Lewis County twice (46-37, 57-41) and Prestonsburg (55-37). Bella Stith led the Lady Musketeers with 14 points in the first loss to Lewis

 

Greenup visits Wayne, WV Tuesday, welcomes South Point Wednesday, visits Russell Thursday and New Boston Saturday.

 

RACELAND 9-9

 

Raceland went 1-1 this week with a 57-15 win over Elliott County and a 43-40 loss to South Point.

 

Nim Maynard led the Rams with 14 points in the loss to South Point. Brooke Campbell added 12 while grabbing 14 rebounds. Allayson Rigsby netted eight points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

 

Raceland meets Huntington Monday, visits Huntington St. Joe Wednesday, welcomes Lewis Friday and visits Magoffin County Saturday.

 



RUSSELL 15-3

Russell went 2-0 this week and has won nine straight after defeating Boyd County and Knott County Central.

 

Kennedy Darnell led the Devils with 23 points in their win over Boyd, 55-48. Gabby Oborne kicked in 21 while going 10 of 10 from the charity stripe.

 

Oborne paced Russell with 18 points in their 50-45 win over Knott County Central. Abby Sharp had 10.

 

Russell welcomes Lewis Tuesday, Greenup Thursday and visits Menifee Friday.
