Feeling a little down with all the snow, rain, and more snow? Do you feel like you've been stuck at home forever? Well, it's time to break free and head over to the Boyd County Winter Craft and Boutique Show at the Boyd County Convention Center this Saturday!

The show kicks off at 10 a.m., but vendors will already be bustling around earlier, setting up their displays and getting ready to wow you. Tara Heffner has been hosting events at the Boyd County Convention Center since 2019, and this year, approximately 50 craft and boutique vendors will be sharing their incredible talents and one-of-a-kind goods. Heffner says, “We have everything from handmade crafts featuring seasonal wreaths, home decor, jewelry, soaps, and candles, to your favorite direct market products like Scentsy, Tastefully Simple, Mary Kay, and many more … just too many to mention!”

Foodies, you're in for a treat! Sheryl Mahoney Jackson of Joy in the Garden is spicing up the show with all-natural seasonings for your food, including her popular Appalachia Dry Rub and Savory Blend. But that's not all – she’s also offering Dipping Herbs, Pumpkin Spice, and a Buttermilk Herb Ranch Blend. Jackson shared, “All my blends are proprietary and always natural, with no additives, fillers, or synthetic chemicals.” You can find more about her spices and delicious recipes on her Joy in the Garden Facebook page.

If you're a fan of Tastefully Simple products, Lisa Wilkens has exactly what you need. And if jerky is your thing, don’t miss Jessica Noe from Jess’ Jerky & More, who offers a variety of jerky and seasonings made with only the good stuff. EmmyRae’s Boutique is another must-visit with a collection of flavored syrups branded Skinny Syrup, Stanley Cups, and other boutique treasures.

Looking for a perfect spring wreath or home decor? Be sure to swing by and check out Susan Robinson’s gorgeous spring wreath creations. For unique handcrafted wood pieces, Pelphrey’s Custom Wood Work has you covered, from inspirational church decor to custom stove-top covers.

Kim Ellington from Blooming Valley Flower Farm offers beautiful botanical-themed resin art, along with repurposed vintage and antique windows and shadow boxes. The flowers used in her art are grown locally on her farm, making these creations the perfect gift for the person who has everything!

These are just a few of the specialty vendors you'll find at the show. You'll also discover handmade jewelry, dog and cat accessories, purses, books, boutique clothing, and more! Feeling hungry? The Pig Out Food Truck will be on-site, serving up delicious meals, and there will be seating inside so you can relax and refuel while shopping. Plus, Traveling Tom’s Coffee will be there with hot and cold beverages to keep you energized.

As always, the show is family-friendly, with a safe environment for kids to enjoy. And don’t miss your chance to enter a raffle for a Green Life 16-piece cookware set, with all proceeds benefiting Walk-FM radio ministries.

So, mark your calendars and head to the Boyd County Convention Center this Saturday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center is located at 15605 State Route 180, Catlettsburg, KY. For more info, visit the Trindy B Facebook page.
