Girls’ Soccer Recap 9-24-24

ASHLAND 4-6-1

Ashland went 0-2 this week with a 4-3 loss to Montgomery County and a 2-0 loss to Russell.

 

Meisha Salisbury had two goals in the loss to Montgomery County. Mary Bolen added another. Kylee Fields assisted in a goal. Mallorie Caudill tallied 19 saves in the loss.

 

Ashland visits Fleming Tuesday and Powell County Saturday.

 










BOYD COUNTY 11-2

Boyd went 2-0 this week with a pair of 4-0 wins over West Carter and South Point.

 

Faith Burnside had a hat trick in the win over West Carter. Aubree Moore netted a goal and had two assists. Sophia Stevens had a pair of saves in the net.

 

Burnside added another hat trick in the win over South Point. Vivianne Allen scored a goal. Moore had three assists. Stevens finished with three saves.

 

Boyd welcomes Montgomery County Monday and visits Ironton St. Joe Thursday.

 






RUSSELL 7-4

Russell went 2-0 this week with a 4-2 win over Martin County and a 2-0 shutout of Ashland.

 

Emma Stamper had a pair of goals and an assist in the win over Martin County. Chloe Ferguson and Ava Barker added goals. Sophia Bagby and Barker had assists. Gabrielle Williams have five saves in net.

 

Russell welcomes Bourbon County Monday and travels to East Carter Tuesday.

 

GREENUP COUNTY 3-12

 

Greenup went 0-2 this week with a pair of 6-0 losses to Johnson Central and Rowan County.

 

Greenup welcomes Spring Valley Monday, visits Bath County Tuesday and welcomes Paintsville Thursday.
