From 2024 to 2025

Happy New Year, readers!

Jonathan Joy

The Ashland Beacon

Christmas carols fade

To 2025 we all upgrade

May it be a year

that brings cheer

One rich in peaceful January snow

Where February Valentine hearts flow

March’s springtime warming powers

And April showers that bring May flowers

June and July summer plays

Long, blistering August days

Cooling September front porch nights

And October’s spooky Halloween frights

November, be grateful for turkey times

In December, bring back holiday rhymes

May you strive

 and thrive

in 2025

Here’s to resolutions that focus on giving and love

Or maybe some bad habits you plan to get rid of

I like goals related to movement, creativity, reading

Or starting a new project and then succeeding

Whatever New Year’s resolution, If any, you do

May it be just the right, best one for you
